Thessaloniki of the Jews
Thessaloniki of the Jews is a comprehensive illustrated presentation of the historic and cultural heritage of the Jewry of Thessaloniki. It is an account of the major events in the history of the Jews in this city, Sephardic traditions, Jewish customs, their language and music, great figures, their contributions in the social and economic life of the city, their traditional clothes and food, synagogues, schools and houses. The narration starts from their first arrival in the city, presents their times of prosperity and ends with the Holocaust, which was also the end of their presence in multicultural Thessaloniki.
This book is a historical and tourist guide that includes a great number of photos and maps, takes the reader to a tour in the Jewish Museum of the city and the places of the social, economic and cultural life of the Jews of Thessaloniki, as well as to places of martyrdom, and monuments. A constant -tour guide- which refuses to forget, accompanied by strong emotions, pays tribute to collective memory.

Η Βασιλική Νευροκοπλή είναι πτυχιούχος του Π.Τ.Δ.Ε. και του Τµήµατος Θεάτρου της Α.Σ.Κ.Τ. Θεσσαλονίκης.
Έχει λάβει τις ακόλουθες διακρίσεις: Βραβείο Κύκλου Ελληνικού Παιδικού Βιβλίου και βραβείο του περιοδικού Διαβάζω για το παραµύθι Αν τ’ Αγαπάς Ξανάρχονται, Εκδόσεις Λιβάνη, 2007. Υποψήφιο για το βραβείο του περιοδικού Διαβάζω και για το Κρατικό Βραβείο, Το Παραµύθι της Μουσικής, Εκδόσεις Λιβάνη, 2008. Βραβείο εφηβικής λογοτεχνίας του ελληνικού τµήµατος της ΙΒΒΥ, Ο Μικρός Μονοµάχος, Εκδόσεις Λιβάνη, 2018. Βραβείο για την ελληνική γλώσσα στον Διεθνή Διαγωνισµό Διηγήµατος µε θέµα Τα Μάρµαρα του Παρθενώνα από την Asociacion Cultural Helenica «Nostos», Αργεντινή, 2011. Α’ διεθνές βραβείο «Annie Vallotton» από το παγκόσµιο συνέδριο Ηνωµένων Βιβλικών Εταιριών για τη σειρά παραµυθιών Οι Ιστορίες του Καλλίστρατου, Εκδόσεις Ελληνικής Βιβλικής Εταιρίας, Σεούλ, 2015. Το 2015 τιµήθηκε από το Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αθηνών για την πολυετή και ποιοτική προσφορά της στον χώρο του παιδικού βιβλίου.
