Γιάντσιου - Κανάκη, Χρυσή
Η Χρυσή Γιάντσιου-Κανάκη γεννήθηκε στις Σέρρες το 1962. Είναι απόφοιτος της Παιδαγωγικής Ακαδημίας Θεσσαλονίκης, πήρε το πτυχίο της Μετεκπαίδευσης του διδασκαλείου "Δημήτρης Γληνός" και είναι υποψήφια διδάκτορας της Κοινωνικής ψυχολογίας. Σήμερα ζει, εργάζεται και συνεχίζει το διδακτορικό της στην πόλη Αβινιόν της Γαλλίας. Ανέπτυξε πλούσια πολιτιστική δράση, αφού για δέκα χρόνια ήταν υπεύθυνη της θεατρικής ομάδας του Πολιτιστικού Οργανισμού Ελασσόνας, η οποία απέσπασε το 2ο βραβείο στους περιφερειακούς πανελλήνιους μαθητικούς αγώνες το 2003. Επίσης, συνεργάστηκε με τον ΟΚΑΝΑ στο πλαίσιο μιας καμπάνιας κατά των ναρκωτικών, ανεβάζοντας το θεατρικό της έργο "Μια φορά σε μια αυλή". Έχει τιμηθεί επανειλημμένως σε ποιητικούς και λογοτεχνικούς διαγωνισμούς: με το Βραβείο της Γυναικείας Λογοτεχνικής Συντροφιάς 1995 για το μυθιστόρημά της "Η κλεμμένη ηλιαχτίδα", με Έπαινο από τη Νέα Κίνηση Λογοτεχνών Θεσσαλονίκης για ποιητική της συλλογή, με Έπαινο από την Εταιρεία Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών Πειραιά για ποιητική της συλλογή, με Έπαινο από το Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο Θέρμης Θεσσαλονίκης για το θεατρικό της έργο "Τα φτερά της άνοιξης". Το μυθιστόρημα "Η ζωή είναι ωραία" τιμήθηκε με Έπαινο από τη Γυναικεία Λογοτεχνική Συντροφιά το 2002.
