Ο απόβλητος και ο θεοπρόβλητος
Στη μελέτη αυτή εξετάζεται το θεσμικό και ιδεολογικό καθεστώς σχετικά με τον θεοπρόβλητο χριστιανικό ηγεμόνα στη συμμετρική του αντίθεση με τα περιθωριοποιημένα άτομα: τον κατάδικο, τον παρία, τον τύραννο Αντίχριστο. Ερευνώνται οι μηχανισμοί κοινωνικού αποκλεισμού και απόρριψης, τους οποίους θεμελιώνουν και ενεργοποιούν οι περί εξουσίας θεωρήσεις της μεσαιωνικής πολιτικής θεολογίας. Μέσα από αυτή την προοπτική προβάλλεται η κατοπτρική σχέση μεταξύ απόλυτου σεβασμού προς τον χαρισματικό ηγέτη και θανάσιμου μίσους προς εκείνον ο οποίος λόγω της έλλειψης ισχύος επωμίζεται το ρόλο του αποδιοπομπαίου τράγου.
